hi all. have a dog that keeps hurting his right front outside toe. dont believe it is dislocation as when he hurts it it swells up and bruises very quickly but after 4 - 5 days of applying rapid gel or bone radiol it is as good as gold. just a "weak joint" maybe? thoughts? not doing in race but just out in yard

G'day Jacqueline, have you taken this dog to the vet when you notice that toe has swelling & bruising around the joint ?
There may be a ligament issue that runs along side of the joint, but without knowing 100% what is causing the problem,i would definitely get the dog to the if or when it happens again,as soon as you notice it.
Hope this helps.

How is that toe injury coming along? Any prognosis from the Vet Jacqueline?

I would take the guess work out of it by getting the vet to do a scan
